Around Wales by human power

Cymru360 was a 650-mile zero carbon journey around Wales – biking, kayaking, hiking, and pedalling boat Moksha – by Jason Lewis and his wife Tammie Stevens, who had never been to sea before.

The expedition also profiled pioneers of sustainable living solutions and highlighted their efforts in a series of short films. These individuals exemplify our belief that transition to a sustainable future starts with ordinary people taking local action and driving change from the bottom up.

Films include: Gerald Miles, who created Wales’s first Community Supported Agriculture Farm (CSA); Evie Furness, who, along with her colleagues from Swansea University, started Britain’s first seagrass restoration project on the Pembrokeshire Coast; and David Kennard, who formed the UK’s first underwater cleanup group, NARC (Neptunes Army of Rubbish Cleaners).
